David is a Partner at the prominent West Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler, which is headquartered in Wolverhampton. He joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2008, qualified into the Corporate Department in 2010 and was appointed a Partner in 2017.
David advises on all aspects of company and commercial law, from corporate transactions including the purchase, sale and re-organisation of companies to non-transactional matters, particularly drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
Heading up the firm’s Veterinary Team, David has been involved in numerous deals acquiring and selling veterinary practices, with an sales aggregate value of over £50 million over the past 3 years. In addition David has a growing construction law practice, dealing with both standard and bespoke construction contracts and is also an established member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, advising clients on a range of non-contentious intellectual property matters.
Given his role in acting for different sized businesses across a variety of sectors, David’s focus is on ensuring that SMEs get the support and guidance they need to prosper and aims to be a voice for such business in the Wolverhampton Business Champions group.
